Cookies and browser storage

This is a courtesy translation of the Italian original. If they differ, the Italian version prevails.
In brief
- Attento! does not use advertising, profiling or statistics cookies.
- We only use what is needed to make the service work, so we do not ask for your consent with a banner.
The attento.online website
It does not use cookies and does not load anything from other sites: even the fonts are on our server.
The app, on your phone and in your browser
The app uses a single cookie, and only if you use it in English:
| Name | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
attento_lang | Remembers that you use the app in English, so that it opens in that language straight away. There is none in Italian. | 400 days from the last time you use the app. It is deleted when you go back to Italian. |
Otherwise it keeps only the following information in the browser's storage:
| Name | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
attento_token | Keeps you signed in to your account. | 90 days; it renews on its own, at most once a week, when you use the app. “Sign out” deletes it. |
attento_ui | Whether you use the new interface or the old one. | Until you change it. |
attento_theme | Light or dark theme. | Until you change it. |
attento_dash | How you have arranged the cameras page. | Until you change it. |
attento_seen_alert | The last alert you saw, to mark the new ones. | Until you delete it. |
attento_nav | The pages you visited, for the “Back” button. | As long as the tab stays open. |
attento_live_viewer_… | Recognises your viewing of the live view. | As long as the tab stays open. |
This information stays on your phone or computer and we do not use it to track you.
Third-party services
- Sign in with Google. On the “Sign in” page, Google's button is loaded; it may use its own cookies (Google's cookies).
- Payments. The payment and “Manage subscription” pages belong to Stripe, which uses its own cookies for payments and against fraud (Stripe's cookies).
- Notifications. Your browser handles them, with the notification service of Apple, Google or Mozilla.
The program for the computer
It does not use cookies. The “Control room” keeps on the computer a copy of the latest alerts, the alarm settings and your display choices, to show them straight away.
How to delete them
“Sign out” deletes the sign-in from that phone or browser. You delete everything else from the browser settings (site data).
